Amazon uses a hybrid version of android, and doesn't have the Google Play store on it. Both of these factors make it harder for us to deploy our ADL app on kindles, so for now we're not supporting deploying our app to this particular platform.

With Apple, we only have to worry about keeping our ADL app working on the newest version of iOS, which is updated every year. With android, there are ~21,000 versions tested to run on the Google Play store, so this makes life more complicated for android developers. However, Android makes up 70% of the global mobile market, so it's really important that we make the ADL app available to most mobile users around the world.
